Windows 10’s October 2020 Update, also known as the 20H2 update, is here. This update is focused on bug and performance fixes, but it has some larger changes—like the removal of the System Control Panel. This article is up-to-date with the latest changes as of the final version of the 20H2 update, released on October 20, 2020.
The new Surface Hub operating system, Windows 10 Team 2020 Update, based on Windows 10 version 20H2, is now available for all Surface Hub 2S devices.

You can obtain Windows 2020 Update using one of the following methods:
- Windows Update for Business.
- Bare metal recovery (BMR) image. Recommended option for customers who join their devices to Azure Active Directory or don’t allow their devices to receive updates from the internet. To get started, see Download a recovery image for your Surface.
- Windows Update. Availability varies by region/country, as noted in the following table:

Servicing Surface Hubs with Windows 10 Team Edition version 1703
Full servicing support for Windows 10 Team Edition version 1703 is scheduled to continue until March 16, 2021.
2S devices
Customers in all regions can continue to update their Surface Hub 2S devices to the 2020 Update using Windows Update for Business or using a bare metal recovery (BMR) image, as explained in Reset and recovery for Surface Hub 2S.
V1 devices
Customers in all regions can now update their Surface Hub v1 devices to the 2020 Update by using the Surface Hub Recovery Tool. Other methods to update these devices to the Windows 10 Team 2020 Update will soon be available. To learn more, see Surface IT Pro Blog.

Before you begin
Prior to installing Windows 10 Team 2020 Update, make sure you save the BitLocker key associated with your device.
To manually save your BitLocker key
- Insert a USB drive into Surface Hub.
- On Surface Hub, open Settings and enter your admin credentials when prompted.
- Navigate to Update & Security > Recovery.
- Under BitLocker, select Save. The BitLocker key is saved to a text file on the USB drive.

Microsoft will end support for Adobe Flash Player on December 31, 2020, along with Adobe and theirother industry partners. This means that starting January 2021, customers will no longer receivesecurity updates for support for Adobe Flash Player. Microsoft will also take steps to remove Flashfrom the Windows operating system. More information can be foundhere.
Here's what you can expect for each Microsoft browser:
Flash is currently disabled by default in the new Microsoft Edge. However, users may re-enable iton a site-by-site basis through December of 2020.
In January 2021, Flash will be fully removed from the new Microsoft Edge. The schedule of changesis available here.
Flash will not be disabled by default from the legacy version of Microsoft Edge (built on EdgeHTML)or Internet Explorer 11 prior to its removal in December of 2020.
